VIP Auto
VIP Auto approached us for a complete rebuild of their eCommerce platform—one capable of managing thousands of products, dozens of service categories, and multiple retail locations across New England. The company sells tires, auto parts, and individual automotive services, each with its own pricing logic and availability requirements, making the user flow and backend architecture a core design challenge.
I led the UX and UI design for the new platform, focusing on a seamless, intuitive path from product discovery to completed order. This included designing a multi-step tire search experience, integrating warehouse inventory visibility, and building logic for pay-in-store vs. pay-online checkout options. I also designed the appointment scheduling system, complete with confirmation flows and reminder notifications to improve customer follow-through.
To support a clearer customer journey, I built a flexible modular design system, updated the visual identity, and created a clean set of icons and components used throughout the site. A custom mega-navigation was designed to help users understand VIP’s wide catalog at a glance, improving findability and reducing friction.
The result is a scalable eCommerce platform that simplifies a complex purchase process while giving customers confidence at every step—from tire selection to scheduled service.
